DZT: Lange-Bank appearance at Zurich main station
With "Stay a little bit longer", the German National Tourist Board invited visitors to the longest bench at Zurich main station.
Three striking eye-catchers took center stage in this museum-like staging at Zurich main station. At the heart of the activation, in keeping with the claim "Stay a little bit longer", was a 30-metre-long bench made of pallet frames. A gigantic XXL banner hung from the station concourse at an impressive height and ensured visibility from afar. In addition, 4 to 5 meter high, backlit walls created a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Following the principle of "more is more", we staged the imposing station concourse with scenographic elements by making full use of the space both from above - with the XXL banner - and from below - with the exhibition stand construction and the bench.
"The conception and realization in cooperation with made was once again creative, professional and effective."
5 senses as a framework
Our 5-senses framework served as a thematic guide, taking visitors on a sensory journey of discovery - olfactory, tactile and acoustic. In order to make the diversity of Germany as a travel destination tangible, we not only relied on impressive images of the regions.
Instead, we specifically activated the senses: scents brought landscapes to life, forest sounds and opera music could be heard through headphones, and various floor coverings and wind simulated the North Sea haptically. Moving images enhanced the visual experience. For the sense of taste, there was an apple with a greeting from SBB.
The museum-like walls also served a dual purpose - they attracted attention from a distance and provided informative content through text, images and QR codes.
The digital wheel of fortune served as an eye-catching "hook" to draw the attention of station passers-by to the stand. With an impressive 2000 rounds played in just one day, it became an absolute magnet for visitors.
"made has taken our objectives - such as the reuse of previously developed elements - and implemented them with a mix of new ideas and tried-and-tested solutions to achieve an inspiring result."
Implementation:

"A big thank you to the entire team for their commitment to development and implementation - with many complex details."
