iMpuls Roadshow

Migros painting promotion - More movement for Switzerland.

Migros is touring Swiss shopping centres with the iMpuls stand until the end of October. The aim is to sensitize the population to the topic of health and fitness in a playful way and to make the health platform iMpuls more widely known.

iMpuls Roadshow - The appearance in 15 shopping centres was designed and implemented by made.

Some like it cosy, others can't get enough beads of sweat running down their foreheads. What they all have in common is that they correspond to a certain movement category. At the Migros iMpuls stand, visitors can find out exactly that: Where do I stand athletically? What can I improve? How can I integrate more exercise into my everyday life?

The aim of the live campaign of iMpuls, the new health initiative of Migros, is to introduce the population to the topic of exercise in a funny - not instructive - way. Besides nutrition, relaxation and medicine, exercise is one of the 4 main topics iMpuls is dedicated to. In the center of the iMpuls stand concept are the three elements "reaction wall", "wheel of fortune" and "type generator", all of which were designed especially for this campaign.

Migros' task was to combine familiar elements, such as the wheel of fortune, with a movement element in such a way that a new - preferably physical - challenge was created. In this case, a SportXX Fitness-Stepper was converted, which increases the chances of winning at the wheel of fortune when stepping properly. "Challenging was certainly the task that both young and old, comfortable and fit visitors feel the desire to complete the various posts. This took a lot of thinking and fiddling around. "The result convinces us and manages to offer a world of experience around iMpuls", says Désirée Poffet from the Migros Cooperative Association.

At the "reaction wall" visitors test their ability to react. The visitors control the game with the help of sensors in the floor. With a little skill, visitors to the iMpuls stand can win a thematically appropriate goodie such as skipping ropes or water bottles.

Reaction wall - The iMpuls game programmed by made demands the visitors' coordination skills.

Pedometer as red thread

The overriding element of the stand is the "pedometer", which runs as a red thread through the campaign and creates an additional incentive to take part by raffling 50 Fitbit devices.

Based on the evaluation of the "type generator" quiz, visitors take home tips that are easy to implement on a "receipt". The iMpuls Coach is waiting at your home computer or smartphone to help you lose weight and get fitter. Over 20 thematically arranged programmes offer a lot of variety for a healthier everyday life.

Migros contribution to a healthier Switzerland

The iMpuls Coach, launched in September on the migros-impuls.ch website, is part of the new Migros health platform. With the iMpuls health initiative, Migros would like to make a contribution to the health of people in Switzerland. The website aims to provide support and inspiration for a healthy lifestyle with tips, a wide range of offers and assistance. The platform will be strengthened by the end of October with live appearances in 15 shopping centres throughout Switzerland.
