Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does the hydraulics for assembly and disassembly work?
The Promocube trailer will be uncoupled from the tractor at the action site. You will need a local power connection to operate the hydraulics, a normal 230 volt connection is usually sufficient. The Promocube is lifted with the help of the hydraulics, the trailer below is removed, and the Promocube is lowered again with the hydraulics. No additional equipment or machines such as cranes, forklifts or lift trucks are required for assembly and disassembly.
Does the Promocube have storage space?
The Promocube has a technical room (approx. 180 x 80 cm). The hydraulics are located there and all technical equipment can be installed in this room. All power cables, HDMI, etc. can be invisibly sub-distributed from there into the presentation room.
The technical room is spacious enough to fit a wardrobe or shelves and is therefore ideally suited as a lockable back-up room.
How is the Promocube transported?
The Promocube is transported with a two-axle tandem trailer. The chassis is hot-dip galvanized and has a turntable with telescopic lighting device, which allows a very precise positioning even in very narrow action areas.
The towing device is height-adjustable so that transport with Sprinter (ball head coupling) or truck (towing eye) is possible.
What are the basic features of the Promocube?
The basic equipment includes the actual Promocube with the folding surfaces as well as the trailer with turntable and the height-adjustable towing device. A large roof teaser for maximum distance effect is fitted as standard. Each Promocube is equipped with a small bearing, which also contains the standard hydraulics. The roof areas are equipped with LED downlights. The floor covering consists of hard-wearing, non-slip aluminium chequer plate.
What additional equipment is available?
Each Promocube can be equipped individually. We are happy to implement special requests for you, such as Plexiglas installation, heating, etc.. In addition, we also realise interior fittings, technology and furniture for you, all from a single source. In many projects we have already been able to prove the versatility and flexibility of the Promocube.
Can I freely choose the floor covering?
Aluminium chequer plate has proven to be the best in practice. This surface is particularly hard-wearing, non-slip (which is a great advantage for outdoor use in damp weather) and has a very long service life. That's why this floor is built into all our rental vehicles. Of course, it is also possible to use floating floor coverings such as PVC, carpet, artificial grass or laminate. When purchasing a Promocube, other rubbers can be installed.
Can I use the Promocube indoor and outdoor?
The Promocube is designed for both outdoor and indoor use. The high quality materials defy wind and weather. With easy-to-install Plexiglas elements, the Promocube can be closed all around like a winter garden and is thus available for use 365 days a year. Due to its diverse design and application possibilities, the Promocube feels just as at home at road shows, promotions, product presentations and brand appearances as it does at events and trade fairs. For indoor use, the Promocube offers a representative appearance and yet remains mobile.
Do I need electricity on site?
You will need a power supply on site to operate the hydraulics for assembly and disassembly. A standard 230 volt connection is usually sufficient. However, if you want to connect additional devices with very high power consumption (e.g. several coffee machines), a more powerful power connection may be necessary (400 Volt/16A/32A).
